Webador vs SailWP

Webador, but it's yours.

Webador builds friendly sites quickly. The catch: you can't take them with you. SailWP gives you the same on-rails simplicity on WordPress, your domain, your files, your SEO, your control.

Where Webador still wins

SailWP isn't the right call for everyone.

Fair credit

If you want a fully Dutch interface, support in Dutch, and never to think about hosting, Webador is built for that.

Webador is a friendly, Dutch-first platform with everything in one place, site builder, hosting, support, domain. Their interface is straightforward and their support team speaks your language. For freelancers and small businesses who never plan to migrate, never plan to sell, and want one Dutch company to handle everything, Webador removes friction Wix and Squarespace don't. SailWP's value kicks in the moment you want to own your site or change anything on the back-end.

Set sail from Webador.

Moving is part rebuild, part copy-paste. Faster than people expect.

Oil painting of a sailboat leaving a small enclosed wooden marina at dawn, sailing toward a distant coastline with a warmly-lit cottage on the horizon, visual metaphor for migrating from Webador to a SailWP site you own.

Webador doesn't export your design, but your domain comes with you. Co-pilot rebuilds the look from your Webador URL. Content copies across easily. A typical small business site is back online in an afternoon.

Want help with the switch?

SailWP Hosting includes a free assisted migration from Webador, in Dutch or English.

So, which one for you?

A rough guide. If you're between the two, start with SailWP. The theme is free; you keep the site even if you uninstall Co-pilot.

  • You'll never migrate, sell, or hand off the site
  • You don't mind paying €5–€24/mo forever to stay live

Quick questions

Can I move my Webador site to SailWP?
Partially. Webador doesn't export your design or page structure, but you can copy your text and images. Our Co-pilot rebuilds the look from your Webador URL in a few prompts. Your domain transfers cleanly because it's registered in your name. SailWP Hosting includes assisted migration if you'd rather not handle it yourself.
Can I really keep my SailWP site if I cancel?
Yes. SailWP is just a WordPress theme, your content, pages, posts and database live on your hosting. Cancel Co-pilot and the theme keeps working. Switch hosts and your site moves with you. There's no "Webador-style" lock-in.
Is SailWP really free?
The theme is free forever, GPL v2+. The Co-pilot (AI page builder) is optional at €19/month or €190/year. SailWP Hosting is separately priced if you want us to handle setup. You can use the theme without paying us anything.
Do I need to know WordPress?
No. SailWP Hosting installs everything for you. The Co-pilot edits your site via chat, type a sentence in Dutch or English, it adjusts the page. You can run a SailWP site without ever opening the WordPress admin.
Does SailWP have a Dutch interface?
Yes. WordPress and SailWP are available in Dutch out of the box. The Co-pilot understands and writes in Dutch. SailWP is made by Joost (Dutch maker) and ships in both Dutch and English markets.

Same simplicity. Your site, your domain, your control.
